Bombay Sapphire is a premium gin produced according to an ancient recipe from 1761, distinguished by its crystal clear and transparent color. The gin has a smooth and soft taste of medium intensity, dominated by intense tones of orange, lemon and piquant juniper notes. The aroma of gin is replete with nuances of juniper, bitter citrus and spices, creating a wonderful olfactory bouquet. From a gastronomic perspective, Bombay Sapphire is ideal for creating great cocktails due to its unique aromatic profile. The distillation process uses Caterhead stills, where the Scottish wheat spirit undergoes a separate double distillation, and in a third distillation it reacts with the botanicals in the copper stills, giving the gin its characteristic aromas and flavours. Particular care is taken in the selection of ingredients: angelica root from Saxony, bitter almonds and lemon peel from Spain, coriander from Morocco, and many other high-quality ingredients, which are combined in such a way that none of them dominates. The final product, a surprisingly aromatic and smooth gin, is bottled in original translucent blue bottles reminiscent of precious sapphire, and was awarded the title of "World's Best Premium Gin" by the International Wine and Spirit Record.
