The 2022 Alain de la Treille Sauvignon Blanc VdF is produced from prestigious vineyards in the Loire Valley, France, as part of a long tradition of winemaking since 1885. The wine has a pale yellow colour and fresh aroma with notes of green apple, wild pear, and a slight hint of hay, which adds complexity to its bouquet. On the palate there are notes of white stony fruit and grapefruit accompanied by a pleasant minerality and freshness, making the wine a perfect match with seafood and fish. The vineyards are located outside of the Loire AOC, which is why the wine is classified as Vin de France.
